Eligibility
NHL Keeper is a paid Commissioner format using the same core scoring and lineup engine as Season-Long Redraft.
Keeper count
The recommended default is 3 keepers per team. The Commissioner may choose another supported keeper limit.
Keeper deadline
Keepers must be declared by the league's published deadline before the next draft. Changes after the deadline require an audited Commissioner correction.
Keeper cost methods
Supported methods may include Original Draft-Round Cost, Escalating Draft-Round Cost, Fixed Keeper Rounds, No Draft-Round Cost and Custom Keeper Cost.
Commissioner controls
Commissioners may configure annual escalation, maximum keeper seasons, Round 1 treatment, undrafted-player cost and same-round conflict handling.
Draft picks
Future draft-pick trading may be enabled where supported by the league settings.
