Beta testers
Create your own leagues and pools, invite your people, and tell us what works—and what needs fixing. No personal invitation from the owner is required.
What you get
The default reward is one year of full-platform access after launch, earned by completing your required testing, submitting the final survey and receiving owner approval. Signing up starts your testing record; it does not immediately award the reward.
The owner can adjust an individual tester’s reward and requirements. Your personal My beta testing page shows your assigned offer, progress and review status.
What you’ll need to do
These are the default targets. Activities count after owner review.
- Create, configure and test 2 distinct leagues as commissioner.
- Create, configure and test 2 distinct pools as commissioner.
- Invite at least 6 real people per qualifying league, including yourself. Six is a minimum, not a maximum; normal format capacity applies.
- Submit 3 useful feedback reports, 1 phone usability review and 1 Stripe TEST checkout review.
- Complete the final survey after your required activities are accepted.
You can play with your own friends or members; you do not need to play with other beta testers. Your members do not all need to enroll as testers. Each person should use their own verified account. CPU teams, duplicate accounts and private owner test fixtures do not count. Joining someone else’s competition does not count toward your commissioner setup targets.
How to get started
- Choose Sign up as a beta tester above, use an email you can access and complete your own Terms agreement. Your account is automatically flagged as beta. Confirm your email, then sign in. Already registered? Choose Join with my existing account.
- Open My beta testing to see your reward and checklist. Complete your own age eligibility and policy details when asked.
- Set up a league or pool, choose an available sport and format, configure it and use the normal paid-product TEST checkout.
- Select Copy link on your competition or account card and share it with your members. Every member can copy the permanent link; it does not expire. The commissioner can remove unwanted members.
- Test the competition, submit your evidence and follow any review notes. Use Revise submission if a report is returned for changes.
Payments during beta: test card only
Use checkout only when it is clearly marked TEST. Do not enter a real payment card.

- Complete any required billing fields shown by the test checkout.
No real funds move in Stripe TEST mode. Beta enrollment does not bypass checkout: test the normal purchase and verify that the selected product unlocks afterward. Existing product access may cover later competitions under the normal plan rules.
If checkout does not clearly say TEST, stop and ask Coach.
What to test and report
- Signup, email confirmation, sign-in and password recovery.
- Setup choices, draft or pick controls, invitation links and joining.
- Save picks or a lineup, refresh, and confirm they remain. Check brackets, scores, standings and deadlines.
- On a phone: menus, back navigation, portrait/landscape layouts, readable text and easy-to-tap controls.
- Group chat and private messages; confirm messages persist after refresh and reach the intended members.
- Optional public recruitment in Find a league, and answers/source links from Coach.
A useful report includes the page, device/browser, steps, expected result, actual result and approximate time. Include clear UI suggestions—even when something works but is confusing. Never submit passwords, real card information or someone else’s private information.
Progress, support and reward approval
Open My beta testing anytime to submit activities, read owner feedback and track approved progress. Your final survey appears once the required activities are accepted. The owner reviews completion before approving your launch reward; approval does not start a paid subscription.
Use the bottom-left Got questions? Ask Coach button or the Help Center for assistance. Coach can send unresolved cases for owner review. AI answers can be wrong, so check the linked rules.
This is a beta: features, sport data and schedules may still be unavailable. Report a blocked step and wait for it to be resolved; do not invent results or mark it complete. We have not set a public completion deadline. Any individual instructions or changed targets will appear in your tester record.
