Pool eligibility
NCAA Basketball Survivor is a Pools product and all participants must be 18 or older.
Frozen Top 25
When a Survivor contest begins, the platform captures the current AP Top 25. Those 25 teams form the eligible team pool for the entire contest.
Ranking changes
A team that later drops from the Top 25 remains eligible in that existing contest. A team that later enters the Top 25 is not added to an already-running contest. A new Survivor contest started later uses the newest available AP Top 25 and freezes its own list.
Weekly pick
Each participant chooses one eligible team in one specific game for the scoring week. The chosen team must win that game.
One team, one time
A participant may use each eligible team only once during that Survivor contest.
Elimination
A loss or no valid pick eliminates the participant. Survivor uses one life with no buybacks.
