Pool eligibility
March Madness Round-by-Round is a Pools product and all participants must be 18 or older.
How it works
Before each tournament round begins, entrants pick the winner of every matchup in that round. Picks do not depend on a previously submitted bracket path.
Default scoring
Round of 64: 1 point per correct pick, Round of 32: 2, Sweet 16: 4, Elite Eight: 8, Final Four: 16 and Championship: 32.
Locks
Each game locks at its scheduled tipoff. Picks in later games of that round remain editable until those games begin.
Standings
Cumulative tournament points determine standings.
Commissioner options
Supported settings may include equal-value scoring, progressive scoring, upset bonuses, pick visibility, required selections and round-specific tiebreaks.
Tournament tiebreak
Recommended order: most total correct picks, most correct Final Four and Championship picks, closest predicted championship combined score, then Commissioner decision.
