NCAA Basketball Confidence Pool

Pick every eligible ranked-team game and assign each selection a unique confidence value.

Pool eligibility

NCAA Basketball Confidence Pool is a Pools product and all participants must be 18 or older.

Eligible slate

The weekly slate uses the AP Top 25 frozen at Monday 12:00 AM Central Time and includes games involving at least one team from that snapshot.

Confidence values

If there are N eligible games, entrants assign the values 1 through N exactly once. The highest value represents the entrant's strongest pick.

Scoring

A correct pick earns its assigned confidence value. An incorrect pick earns 0. A void game earns 0 and is removed from the maximum possible weekly score.

Locks

The team pick and confidence value lock together at that game's scheduled tipoff. Later games and unused confidence values remain editable until their games lock.

Standings

Cumulative confidence points determine standings.

Tiebreaks

Recommended order: most correct picks, highest single-week score, most recent scoring-period score, published numeric tiebreak, then Commissioner decision.
