Eligibility
NBA Keeper is available with a paid Commissioner entitlement for NBA.
Keeper count
The standard setting is 3 keepers per team. Commissioners may choose another supported keeper limit.
Annual reset
Before each new season, managers designate their keepers by the published league deadline. All non-kept players return to the draft pool.
Draft treatment
By default, keepers occupy the league's designated keeper rounds before the remaining snake draft begins. Where supported, the Commissioner may instead assign keeper players to custom rounds or retain an original-draft-round cost.
Scoring and lineups
Keeper leagues use the same NBA points-scoring, roster-position, lineup and transaction systems as NBA redraft unless the Commissioner changes a supported setting.
Difference from Dynasty
Keeper does not carry the entire roster forward. Dynasty is designed for long-term ownership of most or all players and includes annual rookie-draft rules.
