Pool eligibility
NBA Guillotine / Chop is a Pools product and all participants must be 18 or older.
Roster and scoring
Player ownership is exclusive. The league uses supported NBA fantasy scoring and daily lineups. Standard league sizes are 6, 8, 10 and 12 teams.
Chop schedule
Chops are distributed across the available fantasy regular-season scoring periods so the contest lasts essentially the full fantasy season. The platform generates the checkpoint schedule from league size and the season calendar.
Elimination
At each checkpoint, the team with the lowest fantasy score during the current chop segment is eliminated.
Ties
If teams tie for the lowest segment score, the team with the higher cumulative season fantasy-point total survives. If still tied, the league resolves the chop by vote.
Released players and FAAB
Players from the eliminated roster return to the available player pool. The standard starting budget is 250 FAAB credits. Paid Commissioners may set another supported starting amount.
